How to Add Contacts to the Directory on a Yealink Desk Phone


  1. Ensure your Yealink desk phone is powered on and displaying the home screen.
  2. Press the Directory soft key on the phone display.
  3. Select Local Directory from the available options.
  4. Press Add to create a new contact.
  5. Enter the contact's Name using the phone keypad.
  6. Move to the Office, Mobile, or appropriate phone number field and enter the contact's telephone number.
  7. If required, complete any additional fields, such as company or account information.
  8. Review the contact details to ensure they are correct.
  9. Press the Save soft key to store the new contact in the local directory.
  10. To confirm the contact has been added successfully, return to the Local Directory and locate the contact in the list.
  11. Select the contact if you wish to view, edit or call them directly from the directory.
  12. Repeat the process to add any additional contacts required.
