How to Forward Calls on a Yealink Desk Phone


  1. Ensure your Yealink desk phone is powered on and displaying the home screen.
  2. Press the Menu soft key.
  3. Select Features from the menu.
  4. Select Call Forward.
  5. Choose the type of call forwarding you want to configure:
    • Always Forward – forwards all incoming calls.
    • Busy Forward – forwards calls only when your extension is busy.
    • No Answer Forward – forwards calls if your call is not answered within the configured time.
  6. Select the required forwarding option.
  7. Enable the forwarding rule by selecting On.
  8. Enter the extension number or external telephone number that calls should be forwarded to.
  9. If configuring No Answer Forward, enter the required ring time before calls are forwarded.
  10. Press Save to apply the call forwarding settings.
  11. A confirmation message will appear, and the phone will display a call forwarding indicator to show that forwarding is active.
  12. To disable call forwarding, return to Menu → Features → Call Forward.
  13. Select the active forwarding rule and change the status to Off.
  14. Press Save to remove the forwarding rule.
  15. Make a test call to your extension to confirm that calls are forwarded to the correct destination, or ring normally once forwarding has been disabled.
